Easter is right around the corner – April 20th is only three weeks away!
Church service on Sunday is the only day I get to dress my son up, and I always look forward to it. During the week, he is much more comfortable in his play clothes at the daycare. For his Sunday outfits, I like playing with colors and patterns (I have since lost count of the number of color-blocked outfits he has worn).
This Easter Sunday, we are taking things up a notch with our outfits. Below are some of the outfit ideas that I have been playing around with for my son and I. The outfits are inspired by the quintessential Easter colors.
For each outfit idea, I started off with a basic Easter color and then added complementary colors. For the bottom pieces in each outfit, I chose a solid color and added more colors and patterns to the outfit with the other clothing pieces and accessories.
Because of the striking detail and unconventional cuts of the Asos skirts, I decided to make them the statement pieces of each outfit. In light of this, I kept the tops as simple as possible. I added a few accessories to give the entire outfit a glam-factor .
Options for boys
I LOVE colored pants for boys. They are so cool and fresh! Since clothing options for guys are limited compared to girls, I tend to play around with a lot of color for my son. Shoes are also a very good way to add some character to little boys’ outfits. In the shoe department, the options are not as limited for boys as they are with clothing.
Options for girls
Although I am yet to style a girl, here are a few options for you to consider if you have a little girl:
