What I wore: Easter Sunday

A few weeks ago, I shared some of my outfit options for Easter Sunday. While it was a tough choice, I decided to go with the style palette below. The color of the skirt exudes tenderness and gentleness, both of which are appropriate emotions for Easter Sunday.

Easter styling

After choosing my style palette, I waited patiently for Easter Sunday. The night before, I went through different top options. I knew I wanted to pair the skirt with an understated white top/blouse, but finding the perfect one proved to be a challenge. Finally, after so many outfit changes, I narrowed my options down to two.

Option 1 was this free-flowing blouse that mimicked the hem of the skirt. I liked that the blouse added volume to the top half of the body without looking overwhelming.

Option 2 was was a plain white tee. I liked that the simplicity of the tee balanced the volume of the skirt.

  4. Option 1, the ruffled sleeve gave the gave a pop to the skirt, I could go on and on explaining why I love it . Wasn’t feeling option 2 becos of the plain white tee.

  5. Hello Tosin. I absolutely love the second choice. Chic, subtle yet elegant.

  10. Tres chic! Plain white tee does it for me. The skirt is very pretty, let all the attention stay on it.
